New records of Darevskia praticola at the northern limit of its distribution range in Romania

In the summer of 2021 we identified three new distribution localities Darevskia praticola north Mureș River, and one locality south river. The habitats populated by D. (broad-leaved forest with wet areas) altitude (175–245 m) records are typical for this species. Nevertheless, had not been recorded in 12 other similar conditions from an area previously considered suitable Thus, may be slowly expanding a bridgehead occupying favorable habitats. Probably, recently crossed possibly on bridge, or timber trucks which exploit woods both sides
